Brief Description of PHCS   
Special Needs Services  
• Perry Hall Christian school has the opportunity to assist students with speech and/or language impairments.

Mrs. Donna Heckel is a certified speech/language therapist who is licensed by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and the State of Maryland. She received her Masters Degree from Towson State University.

Donna Heckel works with our students individually to aid them in being successful here at PHCS.

- We also offer support serices for students in selected subjects. These services are available at an additional cost.

The doors of Perry Hall Christian School opened for the first time in September of 1971. A ministry of Perry Hall Baptist Church, the school has provided excellent education for students in grades K3-12, giving young people a firm foundation in their faith and providing understanding as to how God wants them to live in the world. more...

Athletic Department   
There is an immediate need for a Middle School Boys Soccer Coach.
Practices will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday if there is no game, however, schedules are flexible.
The requirements are: you must be a Christian and enjoy working with Middle School aged students.

If you are interested, contact Danny Jones through the school office.

-Varsy Boys Soccer tryouts arae August 27-29 from 9 a.m. - 12 noon.
Volunteer Opportunites  
Immediate Summer Needs
To go towards 1st quarter volunteer requirements (6 hours per family/per quarter).
Dates to be determined, please call school office with dates of availability.
   Painting Party
        * wall prep
        * buying supplies
        * painting entryway, school office, and possibly classrooms and lockers

        * Aug 6 Paint Party #1 - School Office starting at 9:00 am
        * Aug 11 - Volunteers are needed to help with the painting of our Science Room. We will start at 9 am. If anyone is interested in helping, please contact the school offic

A list of opportunities to volunteer will soon be posted with detailed needs throughout the entire school year.

LIBRARY

Our school library plays a vital part in educating our students here at PHCS. In order for it to function successfully, we need your support. Here are some ways you can help us serve our students:

1. Putting books back on the shelves.
2. Helping students to checkout books during the library classes.
3. Scanning the bar codes of books to check them back in to the computer. (This process will need to be done during the morning before library classes begin.)
4. Processing of new books.*
5. Covering new books.*
6. Pulling old books off the shelves.
7. Proof reading books.*

* These activities can be done at home.
