PHCS is excited to announce our 2013 camp schedule! All camps are open to campers ages 5-13 unless otherwise noted. Camps are going to fill up fast so please register soon! Below is the schedule for camps and their descriptions:

Basketball CampTired of shooting airballs? Want to practice driving down the court? Not sure what it means to double dribble? Looking to just “up your game”?
Basketball camp is for everyone, it is designed to give children the opportunity to play basketball and to have fun. Indoor and outdoor courts are available to maximize playing time. Campers will receive instruction from qualified coaches. Campers are also grouped according to ability to allow players to gain the skills that they need on the court. Camp is a great way to learn more about basketball, and to make new friends through play.
Sports Sampler Camp If variety is the spice of life, then our Sports Sampler camp is for you! Campers will experience a variety of sports, such as Dodge Ball, Wiffle Ball, Soccer, and Relay Races. Games will be played both indoors and outdoors. Ability and age groupings will allow for campers to have an enjoyable week.
Vacation Bible School Kingdom Rock VBS 2013! Enter the epic adventure that empowers kids to stand strong. Here, God’s victorious power isn’t a fairy tale—it changes kids forever. ~Groups~
Princess Camp Come and enjoy God’s view of his children. Young girls will have fun participating in daily devotion time, etiquette, crafts, games and tea parties. We will be having fun learning about good manners . We will be enjoying how God made us each special and His great love for us through songs and activities.
Checkmate! Once considered the game of kings and an essential part of any knight’s training, chess is the ultimate game of strategy. Participants (Campers?) will receive a solid grounding in chess fundamentals including classic attacks and defenses, little known variants, chess history and terminology, and sportsmanship. Participants will also be introduced to the world chess scene and will square off in a chess tournament. Participants are encouraged though not required to bring their boards if they have one.
Stationary and Scrap Booking Camp Come and enjoy God’s world of encouraging others through creating your own stationary and memories. Campers will learn stationary and scrap booking skills, to make their own creations. Children may bring in special pictures from come as well to make memories. We will have daily devotions focused around encouragement, games, songs, skill time, and craft time.
Passport to Germany! Sprechen Sie Deutsch? Kindergarten, Volkswagen, bratwurst and strüdel…you might know more German than you realize, but here’s your chance to learn some more! An economic and cultural powerhouse in the heart of Europe, Germany has made great contributions to world history through the arts, language, and technology. Tens of millions of Americans trace their heritage to German immigrants who helped build this nation. Participants (Campers?) will be introduced to German language, foods, and history. Participants will also receive an introduction to German culture and its many famous people. We’ll engage in conversation, virtual tours, and cooking!
