Time
There are many areas in our school where you can volunteer your time.
- Ask your child’s teacher directly how you can help.
- Volunteer at the concession stand, or even do the baking.
- Check out the Parent Page weekly for many possibilities.
Library
Our school library plays a vital part in educating our students here at PHCS. In order for it to function successfully, we need your support. Here are some ways you can help us serve our students:
- Putting books back on the shelves.
- Helping students to checkout books during the library classes.
- Scanning the bar codes of books to check them back in to the computer. (This process will need to be done during the morning before library classes begin.)
- Processing of new books.*
- Covering new books.*
- Pulling old books off the shelves.
- Proof reading books.*
* These activities can be done at home.
Science
Mrs. Crigger could use your help setting up and cleaning up for labs, filing and organizing.
Elementary
The Elementary teachers could use your help with tearing pages out of workbooks, copying laminating, cutting out visuals and making Learning Center Games. Help is always wanted during parties, especially with crafts.
