    Elementary Principal and Secondary Math Teacher

    Mrs. Gudmundsson, our Elementary Principal, teaches in the Math Department and is currently advisor to the senior class. Mrs. Gudmundsson has eight years of teaching experience both at the elementary and middle school level. Her Bachelor of Science degree is from Liberty University with a concentration in education as well as family and consumer sciences. She is very passionate about guiding students to apply what they have learned. As much passion as she has for education, she has even more for God’s word. Mrs. Gudmundsson always encourages her students to look for God’s work in their daily lives, using teachable moments to guide students along.

    High School Principal and Secondary Math Teacher

    Mrs. Jane Mundy is the secondary principal and math teacher with a degree from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. She loves teaching students how God made math important, interesting and fun and how we can use it every day.
    Life verse, Zephaniah 3:17: The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.

    Head of School

    Mr. Taylor brings 28 years of experience in Christian School Administration, as well as a passion for academic excellence in the Christian School arena. He has most recently served as Chief School Administrator at Pike Creek Christian School in Newark, DE for eight years, where he guided the school through the accreditation process for ASCI and Middle States. Prior to that in 1984 he joined the Christian Heritage School in Trumbull, Connecticut, where he served as Upper School principal until he was promoted in 1997 to the Headmaster position where he served for 7 years.
    Mr. Taylor has his Masters of Education and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and is currently near completion of his Doctoral degree in Christian Education Leadership, also from Regent University.

    Mr. Taylor is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), and has extensive experience guiding schools through the accreditation process and will be leading Perry Hall Christian School through this important educational endeavor as well. He has been active in numerous ACSI leadership endeavors including speaking, teaching seminars and serving on regional accreditation visiting teams.

    Mr. Taylor has a very vibrant walk with the Lord and desires to encourage our students to be academically well prepared and lifelong followers of Christ. He and his wife Karen, have been married for 42 years and have 3 children and 8 grandchildren.
