Elementary Teachers
Miss Ciampaglia received Bachelor’s of Arts degrees in Religion and Sociology/Anthropology from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in 2000 and a Master’s of the Art of Teaching in Elementary Education from the College of Notre Dame in 2006. She taught fifth grade in Baltimore City for 3 1/2 years and is in her third year of teaching Spanish at PHCS. As a former missionary in Mexico City, Theresa has a special passion for the people and cultures of Latin America. Her life verse is Micah 6:8, “He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
”
Mrs. Clatterbuck is our third grade teacher, with 6 years of experience. She has two Bachelor Degrees; one in Elementary Education, the other in Bible from Philadelphia Biblical University. She promotes learning through many creative experiences and projects. Students are often spotted dressing up as a favorite book character, writing dialogues, creating dioramas and much more to enhance creativity and different learning styles. Through out the year, students are encouraged to grow in their Christian character, love for God, and their love for others. Away from school, Mrs. Clatterbuck helps with Upward Cheerleading, teaches Sunday School and chauffeurs her four children to many activities. In the summer, you will most likely find her running a summer camp for kids or kicking back by the pool with a good book.
Mrs. Davis is our K3 teacher, she received her Early Childhood Education certification from Coppin State University. Mrs.Davis’ goal and desire for her classroom is to provide a caring, safe and fun-filled learning environment for preschoolers. She brings over 10 years of experience working with children. Mrs. Davis is the mother of 2 wonderful girls, and ordained minister, published author and speaker.

Ms. Gettier received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Towson University in Early Childhood Education. She approaches teaching with the desire to inspire students through creativity in a positive nurturing environment.

Mrs. Kojack, our second grade teacher, has twenty-seven years of teaching experience. She holds Bachelor of Arts from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, and a Master of Science in Elementary Education is from Baptist Bible College in Pennsylvania. Mrs. Kojack believes that second graders can reach higher levels of learning, if learning is delivered in fun, and interesting ways. She loves to use music, games, hands-on activities, and lots of interaction between classmates in the classroom. Mrs. Kojack aspires daily to give students the opportunity to learn visually, auditorily, and kinesthetically.
Her life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6, and she loves sharing the Word of God with students in Bible class each day, as all children love to hear about the great Bible characters!” Matthew 19:14, Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Mrs.Kojack‘s hobbies are reading, listening to contemporary music, and keeping fresh her first year of learning piano, with hopes of returning to lessons in order to play the hymns of our faith.
Mrs. Linton has been teaching for 9 years. She taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade for one year before finding her niche in the 4th grade class! Using differentiated teaching methods and creative lessons, and incorporating literature & writing into every possible lesson, she strives to help each student reach their God-given potential and find success in the classroom. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Towson State University. When she is not writing lesson plans or grading papers, she finds scrapbooking to be very therapeutic; however a perfect day would be spent with a good book. As C.S. Lewis so eloquently said, “You can’t get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suit me.”
Mrs. Lyons is one of our kindergarten teachers, with ten years of classroom experience in both the public and private school systems. Mrs. Lyons believes that teaching is her calling from God and He guides her each and everyday to inspire her students. George Evans says it best, “Every student can learn, just not on the same day, or the same way”. This is Mrs. Lyons second year at PHCS. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. Mrs. Lyons enjoys the fall season, not because of the beauty of colorful leaves, but because of the excitement of the beginning of the Baltimore Ravens season. As you walk down the halls of Perry Hall there is no mistaking which room is Mrs. Lyons’, because of all the purple beauty pouring out of her room.

Miss Michelle Masemore teaches first grade. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Pensacola Christian College. Miss Masemore has 22 years of teaching experience. She is in her thirteenth year teaching at Perry Hall Christian School. She is passionate about teaching kids to read. She loves the opportunity that she has at PHCS to sharpen a child’s mind and to transform their hearts for the glory of God.
Ms. Mattes graduated from Towson University with a B.S. in Elementary Education. Ms. Mattes has been teaching in Christian schools for 12 years with much of her experience being with fifth graders and middle schoolers. She strongly believes in teaching the students the value of TEAM where God is our captain and we are the players who work together to create respect and love for others. Ms. Mattes enjoys using puppets, projects, and funny stories about her cockatiel Sydney to make learning fun and meaningful for her students. Laughter can always been heard in the fifth grade classroom! When Ms. Mattes is not teaching, she enjoys playing the piano and clarinet, reading a good book, and chasing after her 14 birds, 1 bunny, and 2 gerbils.
This is Kirstie McMonigle’s first year at PHCS. She graduated from Towson University with a BS in Early Childhood Education. Her “bubbly” personality helps her preschool students feel comfortable in the classroom so that they are able to relax and learn in a fun environment!

Mrs. Moss is currently serving in her fourth year as the Pre-K 4 teacher. Mrs. Moss graduated from Towson University with a double major in Early Childhood and Elementary education. Later she went back to graduate with honors receiving a masters in Elementary Education with certificates in curriculum development and administration. After being certified as a home daycare provider she taught adult classes for continued certification with the child care administration. Mrs Moss has a passion for our school having served 5 plus years on the school board. She has subbed in all grades with long term positions in both second grade and middle school. Her oldest child is graduating from PHCS as will her other two children in years to come. Young children are Mrs. Moss’ heart and she strives to make learning fun.
Sarah Peacher is one of our Kindergarten teachers. She is in her 3rd year of teaching at Perry Hall Christian School. She graduated Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, VA with a BA in Liberal Studies and a Concentration in Elementary Education. She is certified K-6. Miss Peacher is the Varsity Volleyball coach for PHCS and also actively helps with the middle/high school drama productions. She is a Disney nut that can always be found either talking about or singing anything Disney. She loves Broadway as well and takes any opportunity to see a show in Baltimore or New York City. Miss Peacher has wanted to be a teacher since she was in 5th grade and loves seeing the “lightbulb” or “Ah-Ha” moments that occur in the classroom.
Mrs. Seibert received her Bachelor’s Degree from California State University and her Master’s from Goucher College. She has over twelve years of classroom experience.
